One of the duties of an Alumni chapter is to properly advise Undergraduate chapters in the proper indoctrination of the principles of the Fraternity. Alumni chapters are also mandated to ensure lawful Membership Intake practices are followed by our Undergraduate Brothers. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated is a membership driven organization. Alumni chapters are able to flourish not only by initiating new members but by fostering good relations with our Undergraduate Brothers so they might join upon graduation. Norristown Alumni has the distinct pleasure of being the advisor chapter for the Omicron Kappa chapter at Lehigh University and at Ursinus College. Omicron Kappa was chartered in the Fall of 2001 at Lehigh. There are currently four Brothers on the yard. James Sharp is the advisor. Ursinus Undergrad was established in the Spring of 2002 by Kevin B. Hankins, Jr., Brandon Brooks, Jared Devine, and Harry Michel. The head advisor at the time of founding was Aaron Watkins, Jr. Brother Watkins remains the advisor to Ursinus College along with Kevin Hankins (an initiate and graduate of Ursinus College) and Randy Winder.
