The Kappa League Mentoring committee includes the members of the Kappa League.  The committee aims at becoming mentors to elementary school males.  Each month the mentoring team host events and activities with the elementary school males from Hillsdale Elementary School.  The first activity included a basketball night at Henderson H.S.  The elementary school students met the varsity basketball team, received a welcome speech from coach Bell, received a Henderson High School varsity shirt, had seats next to the game announcers and were recognized during the game halftime activities.  The mentees had a great time and look forward to the next event, which includes a bowling night, and go carts with the Kappa Leaguers.

Domestic violence has become increasingly visible in our everyday lives.  From celebrities to children, the effects of domestic violence are wide spread, and the victims keep piling up.

On Sunday, November 8th 2009, ten young men from the West Chester Kappa League took time out to lend a helping hand to the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County.  The gentlemen enthusiastically spent four hours of their morning giving two rooms a fresh coat of paint.
